Problems with pics...

I had a razor that had a bunch of pics on an sd media card.
I copied pics to my computer, formatted the card to wipe it out & put in new phone (Boulder) to let the phone format the card. Put card in computer, copied pics back to it then transferred card back to phone.
When viewing pics, about half of them show up as a broken pic icon.
I can move to phone & they will show up fine, but moving back to card gives me the broken image icon again.
Any ideas on why & how to fix?
