Default How to setup and use Bluetooth headset

If you have a phone that supports Bluetooth headset, first you need to setup the two so both units know that they are supposed to work together.

In order to set it up for the first time, you need to put the Bluetooth headset in a discoverable mode. (Check your Bluetooth headset manual for how to put it into a discoverable mode) On JabraŽ VBT135 Bluetooth Headset, you hold down the button until the bluelight is on constantly.

Then, from your phone, go to Menu -> Settings & Tools -> Bluetooth Menu -> Add New Device. If your headset is near the phone, the phone will discover your headset and ask you if you want to add this unit. If you say yes, it will then ask you to enter the code. (Again, check your manual to see what the code is) On JabraŽ VBT135 Bluetooth Headset, the code is 0000.

Once the setup is done, you are ready to start using the bluetooth headset.

Whenever you turn the bluetooth headset on, the phone will automatically recognize that you are using the headset.

If you turn off the bluetooth headset, the phone will automatically know that you are not using any headset.

Hmmm. I haven't tried using the call waiting when using this bluetooth headset. I had the manual but it didn't really go too much in details and it only has one button.

I'm thinking you might have to actually use the buttons on the handset if you want to toggle the call waiting function (The phone gives you the option of accepting the new call or ignoring the new call)
