This number does not work anymore and 411 is now $1.49.

This one still works. Although they make you listen to some advertising first before you can use it. Still, better than paying $1.49 per call for 411.

You can now get free directory assistance from Google by dialing 1-800-GOOG-411. It only costs minutes and the voice recognition technology is great. You can even say "Text Message" and they'll text you with the information. Only works for business listings. for more info check out: http://www.google.com/goog411/index.html
