The easy way to get a ringtone to your phone

Hello folks,

I've just joined and I posted asking for help to get a ringtone to my wife's phone. A few folks posted, telling me how to use my music essentials kit or the bitpim program. The directions were too vague to be helpful.

By chance, I stopped into the general discussion thread and found a post about free ringtones. I went there (http://www.myxertones.com/) and found a way to upload the mp3 from my computer. I then sent it to my wife's phone and she had it in seconds. I sent her several others from the same site and they all worked beautifully!

If you are having trouble getting ringtones to your phone, I would recommend visiting that site.

Glad to hear you found what you were looking for.

This solution does cost per message unless you have unlimited texting.

The other methods of using USB cables and bitpim are free.

Just pointing out a minor difference but could be worth few cents to avoid too much trouble.
