Synchronizing music to the handset - Windows Media Player 10 / 11 - Samsung Juke U470
All music downloaded from the VCAST Music store must be transferred to the handset using Windows Media Player or the Music Essentials Manager.
  1. Ensure that the handset is connected to the computer with the USB cable.
  2. Open Windows Media Player by selecting: Start > Programs (All Programs) > Windows Media Player.
  3. If this is the first time Windows Media Player has detected the handset, enter a name for the device then click Finish.
  4. Click in the upper left corner to access the media menu, then select Music (All Music) .
  5. Select the desired songs from either a Playlist or the Library then drag them to the Sync List (located in the right pane).
  6. Click Start Sync (located in the lower-right corner).

Ripping a CD - Windows Media Player 11
  1. Open "Windows Media Player" by selecting Start > Programs (All Programs) > Windows Media Player.
  2. Insert a CD into the CD drive.
  3. From the "Rip" tab, click More Options.

  4. From the "Rip Music" tab, select Windows Media Audio as the "Format," ensure that the Copy Protect Music checkbox is not checked then click OK.

  5. Ensure that the desired song(s) are selected.
    • If prompted, select Keep my current format settings and then select OK.

  6. Choose Start Rip (located in the lower-right corner of the window).

Downloading Purchased V CAST Music Ensure there is an established Internet connection before proceeding.
  1. Open "Windows Media Player" by selecting Start > Programs (All Programs) > Windows Media Player.
  2. Click on the Online Store drop down menu (located in the upper-right corner of the window).

  3. Select Browse all Online Stores.

  4. Choose Get Music icon.

  5. When prompted with "Do you want to switch to it now?" click Yes.

  6. Select Log In (located in the left column).
  7. Enter the 10-digit mobile number and password, then click Log In.

  8. If this is your first visit to the V CAST Music store, you must accept the "Store License and Use Agreement" by clicking I Agree.

  9. Select My Purchases.

  10. Ensure all songs to be downloaded are checked.
    • Files that have not been downloaded are denoted with a folder in the D/L column.

  11. Once all songs have been checked, click Download.
    • The default download section is My Documents > My Music.

Ensuring V CAST Music Media Usage Rights
  1. Open "Windows Media Player" by selecting Start > Programs (All Programs) > Windows Media Player.
  2. Select a song then right click to view the menu, then select Properties.

  3. Click the Media Usage Rights tab.

  4. Review the Media Usage Rights information and click OK.
