Samsung Gleam - lock menus?

I have a Gleam and I want to be able to lock certain menu items down, like pictures and text messages or get it now so if my niece picks up my phone, she won't have access to my personal stuff, but could still use it to call someone if need be. Is this possible?

My guess is no.

If you don't subscribe to certain features, the menu will be there but it won't be active. Mobile web for example is available on almost all phones but if you don't pay monthly fees or subscribe to it, it won't work.

ya from what i know only at&t phones do that and only a select few do
