Accessing Debug Mode

1. Go to the MENU
2. Go to SETTINGS & TOOLS
3. Press #
4. Enter 000000 (six zeros)

Do the same thing again to disable the debugging screen or turn off the phone.

Understanding Debug Mode

There are many screens while in debug mode. Use the <- or -> arrow keys to cycle through them.

1. Tower/signal info
2. More tower/signal info??
3. Tower list??
4. EVDO/1xRTT Data info
5. Service provider
6. OS memory usage??
7. Receive / transmit info??
8. Phone memory stats
9. Battery info
10. Blank page

A sample Tower/signal info screen looks like:
Line 1: S00006 N00006 S2
Line 2: T-63 D091-01 BC0
Line 3: P116 CH0425 W01
Line 4: PR6 VC04 B207
Line 5: SI2
Line 6: T:133 P:3 L:1 C:0
Line 7: V:208 S:6

Line 1: S00006 represents the SID the phone is on (in this case SID 6)
Line 2: D091 is the signal strength. In this case -91 dB.
