Performing a soft reset - Palm Treo 755p
A soft reset is the most useful tool for resolving a variety of issues. In most cases, a soft reset will not effect the data on the device, unless the battery is very low. It is a good practice to perform a sync operation before any reset to ensure that your data is backed up.

1. Disconnect the AC charger and USB sync cable.
   
2. Press and hold the Power / end key to turn the wireless radio off.
3. Press the battery door release button then slide the battery door downward to remove.
   
4. Remove the battery.
   
5. Re-insert the battery and replace cover.
   
6. Ensure desired Automaticaly set option is selected then tap Done.

   • Date, time and time zone
   
7. Press and hold the Power / end key to turn the wireless radio on.
