How to install Palm Desktop software for Palm Centro

Installing Palm Desktop software - Palm Centro
Do NOT connect the device to the computer before installing the Palm Desktop software. If the Palm Centro has already been connected to the computer, disconnect it then restart the computer before proceeding.

1. Insert the Palm Software Installation CD into the CD-ROM drive.
   If the CD-ROM does not automatically start, from the Windows desktop click Start> Run. Type D:\Palm Desktop\setup.exe (where D is the letter of your CD-ROM drive) then click OK.
2. Click Next.
   
3. Click Next.
   
4. To continue the installation, ensure I accept these terms is selected then click Next.
   
5. Ensure Download latest settings from the Internet (recommended) is not selected then click Next.
   
6. Click Next.
   
7. Click Next.
   
8. Enter a unique name for the device then click Next.
   
9. Select the desired personal information manager (PIM) then click Next.
   
10. Connect the device to the computer using the USB cable then press the HotSync button located on the cable.
    
11. Click Next.
    
12. Click exit (located in the lower left corner).
    
13. Click OK.
