Default How to save battery - very effective and useful trick

This is for the nokia phones. It works for all the models.
There is this mode the phone can be programmed to run on, its called the HFR mode. This is The Half Rate Mode.

When this is activated, the phone automatically reduces the quality of the of the call and increases the battery life.
very useful tip, When you are out of the battery charge, Perhaps this can help your phone stay alive a little longer..

How to activate and de activare HFR:

Half Rate Mode (HFR):

*4720# to activate HFR.
Decreases call quality but increases battery life by about 30%.

#4270# to deactivate HFR.

Default

Well, a very improbable situation , but just in case you have excess of battery charge left and then you could better the qullity and compromise a little with your battery life. This is the EFR.

Enhanced Full Rate (EFR):

*3370# to activate EFR. Makes calls sound better, but decreases battery life by about 5%.

Default Nokia - Battery saving tricks - SIM CLOCK STOP

#746025625# ,when dialed, tells whether the SIM CLOCK STOP ALLOWED or similar, depending on your SIM card.

Newer SIMs have a feature called 'clock stopping' that allows the phone to save energy -- it is a kind of sleep mode for SIM cards.
Not all versions of software support this.
You cannot turn the SIM clock on and off, the phone will do it automatically if the SIM supports clock stopping.
