1) To lock the keypad with the flip closed: press and hold the speakerphone button for two seconds. Opening the flip disengages the lock.

2) To lock the keypad with the flip open: press and hold the # key for two seconds. The keypad stays locked with the flip closed and disengages when the flip is opened.

Note: If your phone is ringing, it takes about a second for the keypad lock to disengage. If you have answering set to pressing either the Send key or any key, it will take a second for your keypad to respond.
