Default Nights and Weekends

Does anyone have an earlier time for the nights then 9pm?

When I signed up for Verizon long ago (back in 2001), my nights and weekends started at 7PM but when I had to review for a different plan, they changed mine to 9 PM...

There might be some old timers with earlier start.

i wonder if there is a code in their system for an earlier time. 9pm is just so late. Hell Sprint even has 7pm and 6pm. I've even heard of 5pm. But 9 wow.

I should have my phone by the weekend. Sooner if I can work things right

Good luck this weekend.

BTW, if you are changing to Verizon as a brand new subscriber, you will likely to get a better discount on phones and accessories from a mom and pop Verizon authorized retailer than actual Verizon superstore. The Verizon superstore has a fixed price on what they have to charge you for phones, whereas the retailers have some flexibility to offer you more since they get paid by Verizon for getting a new subscriber to them. Many of these places will give you the high-end phones for free, whereas Verizon will still charge you over $100.

It's worth trying.

The plans are set by Verizon so there isn't much you can bargain in terms of minutes.

Dats the truth. Support your local indirect! You'll appreciate them and need them some day!

I'm not saying Verizon store isn't nice to work with.

Those stores owned by the Verizon corporation.
The other "mom and pop stores" are independently owned and they get new subscribers on behalf of Verizon. And Verizon pays them for each new subscriber (handsomely) so they give more incentive to new subscriber by giving them more discounts on the phone than what's fixed from the official verizon store. That's all I'm saying.

Check your local newspapers - usually the free ones. They are usually supported by bunch of advertising and cell phone advertising is always there. You'll most likely find one store that carries not only Verizon but bunch of other carriers as well.
